Classical Xhu is a language that mainly written. There are different pronunciations in use, but none of them is really satisfying from a historical linguistic point of view. Words usually consist of a phonetic component and an ideographic component, comparable to the determiners in Hieroglyphic Kemetic and Classical Chinese. However, the language resembles Latin in its deep structure.
