Subconscious biases will alway creep in. If you want to make your language such, it will become so, if you want to make your language so, it will become such.
I just discovered a root word inside my language that I had been using unintentionally but makes perfect sense. It is the word ur which I was originally using to create present tense verbs (urr + root), but I also discovered it in words like surr (rain), mourll (river), aurl (tree), and uurg (clan). I’ve come to ‘realise’ that it means something like dao (way/flow) in Chinese. Which is a concept I wanted to incorporate into Clarndor culture, but had no idea that I had a word for it. Their religion is almost a more shamanic form of Daoism with the sun (Orrucuu) as the primary deity.
