Female genital mutilation (FGM) includes procedures that intentionally alter or cause injury to the female genital organs for non-medical reasons (WHO). These procedures do not have a single health or medical benefit and are practiced in around 29 countries, mainly African nations. Today, over 125 million girls and women alive have experienced FGM. These girls most likely would have undergone a procedure between the ages of infancy to fifteen years old. FGM can lead to severe bleeding and problems urinating, and later cysts, infections, infertility as well as complications in childbirth and an increased risk of newborn deaths (WHO).         1. Maybe because the Left likes to deconstruct the meaning of voluntary and involuntary, removal and modification, in endless shades of grey. That is what post-modern anarcho-tyranny is for.

          More succinctly said: women from clitoridectomizing cultures will generally deny being forced (being forced to say that?), and the linguistic panopticon prevents investigation of the truth.
