When someone says the word slut, an image of the individual comes to everyone’s head. The most common factor is that the imagery is slanted towards one gender while the actions are common for both.

The intricacies of the idea stems from the fact that a woman’s body was never considered as being hers! Theirs is a gender, which is mostly considered as property because of their inherent ability to give life. While men on the other hand are only the tools. In this inferiority complex, stems man’s arrogance in claiming possession. Women’s physical weakness was taken advantage of. Men were dominant. Even though the base sexual desires were the same, women were ostracised for their desires. While men could flaunt it without consequence!
