The average person can’t afford to live without government help

Yay for Libertarians!!! LOL

Lion of the Blogosphere

According to an article in the Herald Sun:

A grand total of $2.17 million [AUD] to pay for your food, education, housing, health, transport, recreation and all the other basics of living from cradle to the grave.

This is probably the same in the United States, so adjusted for the AUD to USD exchange rate, it costs $2 million in the United States, which is more than the average person is able to earn in a lifetime. Thus, without the government paying for education, health, retirement, etc, the average person would not be able to afford to live.
