A few Turkish verbs(repost)

açmak    to open

almak    to take

anlamak to understand

aramak  to seek

atmak    to throw

bakmak  to look

baslamak to begin(note: the ‘s’ has in Turkish a little hook beneath it, this means it is pronounced ‘sh’)

    I remember this one. Nice. It usually takes repeating a thing three times for a person to get it.

    to open – acmak
    to take – almak
    to understand – anlamak
    to seek – aramak
    to throw – atmak
    to look – bakmak
    to begin – baslama
